Sami Hyypia is a Finnish defender who plays for Bayer Leverkusen. In PES 2009 he is playing for Liverpool. He had appeared for Liverpool throughout the PES series before his German move. Hyypia is considered to be one of the best centre backs in the Premier League due to his tough tackling and aerial presence.
