Scotland have always been classed as an average team in PES. This is mainly due to the lack of any real outstanding players. However, the recent resurgence in the national team in real life led to an improved Scotland for PES08 where they seem to match up better to the so called bigger nations. They were licensed for the first time in PES08 with a home kit of navy blue shirts, white shorts and red socks and an away strip of all white with a sky blue soltaire.

Tactics & Players

Scotland lack outstanding individuals but make up for it in excellent team play. They work well in a 4-4-1-1 formation with Craig Gordon as the excellent goalkeeper behind a slow defence, Paul Hartley and Barry Ferguson to protect the back four sitting in deep midfield roles with James McFadden supporting the pacey Kenny Miller up front.
