[edit] PES 2008

Antonio Puerta, who died suddenly in the beginning of the 2007/2008 season, was featured in PES 2008 despite the game being released after his death. However in PES 2009 he was in the PES Shop under the fake name of Puruza.

They appeared as an unlicensed team named Sev Blanco.

Their squad in Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 contains the likes of Javi Navarro, Sebastien Squillaci, Aldo Duscher, Aquivaldo Mosquera, Adriano Correia, Federico Fazio, Jesus Navas and prolific strikers such as Frederic Kanoute, Luis Fabiano and Javier Chevanton.

[edit] PES 2011

They appeared as an unlicensed team named Sev Blanco. The roster included top-notch offensive threats like Frederic Kanoute, Brazilian star Luis Fabiano and current Spanish national team members Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas.

Young players with high potential include the likes of Diego Perotti, Federico Fazio and Diego Capel, the latter transferred to Sporting Lisbon at the end of the season. Despite the strong defensive corps in the game, with internationals like Martin Caceres, Julien Escude, Fernando Navarro and defensive midfielders Didier Zokora and Gary Medel, the team defensive performance in real life was rather lackluster, leading team management to make improvements in this area a top priority during the off-season.

Despite being rated statistically among the best players in the team, Luca Cigarini and Koffi Ndri Romaric had disappointing seasons, with the Italian playmaker barely making a few appearances during his loan spell from Napoli. The arrivals of playmaker Ivan Rakitic and defensive "bulldog" Gary Medel in the winter transfer window meant their chances of playing were decreased even more. Abdoulay Konko was traded away during the winter, with the €9-million worth French player not making an impact in his nearly 3 years at the club.

The team experienced a surprising "changing of the guard" in net, with long-time captain and fan-favourite Andres Palop being relegated to backup duties thanks to the excellent form of Javi Varas, who rose from the ranks after years of hard work.

[edit] PES 2012

Although some of the new signings are not available until the updates are installed, the team saw more than 12 players transferred away or leaving for other teams on season-long loans at the request of the coach, who prefers to work with 24-25 man rosters.

The new coach and the club manager, Marcelino García Toral and Ramón Verdejo, decided to focus on team defense as well as enhancing midfield creativity while working within a limited budget, since Sevilla FC failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the second year in a row. The club acquired the full rights to Martin Caceres from FC Barcelona, signed tough Bosnian defender Emir Spahic (named Skarac in his national team) from Montpellier HSC and promising sideback Jorge Andujar Moreno, who was one of the most important Rayo Vallecano players last season, during which the Madrid-based club was promoted to La Liga.

German international Piotr Trochowski, former Getafe forward Manu del Moral and attacking midfielder Emiliano Armenteros (returning from a 20-goal loan spell at Rayo Vallecano have been the main offensive additions to the roster, as well as some recently promoted youngsters like Jose Campana and Luis Alberto Romero.

The team's system will not vary significantly, since Marcelino García Toral's teams usually play with a classic 4-4-2, with a 4-2-3-1 variation when he does not have two healthy strikers.
