Séamus "Shay" Given is an Irish goalkeeper playing for Manchester City after moving from Newcastle United. Shay was part of a small group of players who have appeared in every Pro Evolution with one club to date, these playes include Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Gareth Barry, Raul and Paolo Maldini. But since he and Barry have both left to Man City this will no longer be the case.

Shay is one of the best keepers in the game and certainly the best on the British Isles, and his stats reflect this. In PES 2008 Shay is a very good buy as he remains consistent till he retires, but it may be tricky to prise him away from his club.
