Stephan El Shaarawy is an Italian striker who plays for AC Milan. Despite his father being Egyptian he has chosen to represent Italy at youth level and therefore has Italian nationality in PES. He is nicknamed Il Faraone (The Pharaoh).

He is the youngest player in PES 2009 (as his age starts at 15) after the Version 1.40 update is installed.
He starts the game at a mere 15 years old in the Genoa squad and peaks at 90 in the Master League Mode. He is a recommended signing especially at the beginning when Genoa are not completely aware of his huge potential.
