In Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, whom with Newcastle United made their debut as a licensed team however normal service was resumed in the next game.

In previous editions of PES as well as PES 2009, Tottenham were known as North East London, Konami's fake name for the club, but some people abbreviated that and called them NEL. Spurs are one of the few teams to be in every Pro Evolution Soccer game to date.

They appear as one of the two licensed English teams along with Manchester United.
