The UEFA Champions League is a new feature in PES 2009 and will feature in the next four installments after striking a deal with Konami. 32 teams can play in the Champions League and the mode is exactly how the real Champions League is carried out. The mode has an adjusted HUD and menu screens as well as slight adjustments to team's strips and a unique ball. It was previously known as the WEFA Championship.
You can also play an Exhibition Champions League match where any two clubs can play but just in a Champions League scenario.
