Walter Samuel (born Walter Adrián Luján) is an Argentinian defender playing for Inter Milan.

He is part of an already solid Inter squad of defenders including Ivan Cordoba, Nicolas Burdisso and Marco Materazzi. Samuel is one of the best defenders in the game due to his no nonsense approach and is a very tough tackler, he works best with Ivan Cordoba as they are different types of defender.
