Yoann Gourcuff is a French footballer who plays for Bordeaux and the France national team. He is considered to be one of the best midfielders in PES.

PES 2008

Yoann Gourcuff is in the AC Milan squad and granted a Preset Face. He is considered a bright youngster but not as good as most of the other developers in the game. He is a recommended signing in this version of the game but is best used as a squad player.

PES 2009

Gourcuff is found playing for Bordeaux on loan from AC Milan. He has the same recycled preset face in this installment as he did in the last as well as only average stats and a peak only reaching mid 80's. His team-mate Yoann Gouffran has a much better development and is recommended out of the two players.

However after some impressive real life displays in Ligue 1, once the February Update is installed he is given an amazing stat boost and most notable a development curve that peaks at 95 and stays there for about another 4 seasons. He has the capability to peak at 97 if given proper development and eventually gets every stat on or above 95. A must buy in any Master League which makes him one of the best developed players in the game. However his rise in stats made team-mate Gouffran have a stat decrease and a far less impressive development curve.

He also can perform the Elastico after the update.

PES 2010

Following on from his stat boost, Gourcuff appears for the new look French national team with up and coming starlets such as Karim Benzema, Jimmy Briand and Hugo Lloris.

He is also given a new very life-like preset face. He possesses the card Talisman which makes him able to drive the team forward on attacks. Special abilities such as, Tactical Dribbling, Passer, Playmaker and Middle Shooting make him a great Attacking Midfielder.
