Zico is a Brazilian former footballer who plays with Classic Brazil. Often nicknamed the White Pele, he is one of the most prolific midfielders of all time and is also one of the best set-piece takers in the PES series. Unfortunately his injury proneness is always a 'C' which means he often gets injured after one tackle. He is known as Zilre in PES 2009.

Zico was the focal point of the Brazil side which travelled to the 1982 World Cup. This squad, consisting of Zico, Socrates and Falcao, is regarded by many as the greatest side of all time not to win the World Cup. Zico was one of the greatest free-kick takers of all time, able to bend the ball with incredible curve and accuracy. He scored many spectacular goals in his career at Flamengo in Brazil and Udinese in Italy. During this time, Serie A boasted the three greatest players of the 1980s; Zico, Platini and Maradona.

Pele said that "throughout the years, the player that came closest to me was Zico".

To make him appear in modes such as Become a Legend and Master League when starting these modes make sure that "Classic Players" option is put to "Yes".
