Zinedine Zidane is a legendary French midfielder of Algerian Berber descent who plays in the Classic France squad.

Zidane was strong, graceful and possessed astonishing skill on the ball. Alongside Ronaldo he is the only other play to be voted FIFA World Player of the Year three times. He was also voted European Footballer of the Year in 1998. His crashing left-foot volley against Bayer Leverkusen was voted the greatest ever goal in a UEFA Champions League Final in 2002.

David Beckham said that Zidane was "without doubt the best player I ever played with". Asked to comment on Zidane's ability, Thierry Henry remarked that "some of the things he can do with his feet most people can't even do with their hands".

[edit] PES 6

This is the last appearance of Zidane in PES as an active player, since he retired at the end of the 2006 World Cup.
