[edit] PES 2008

In Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, they appeared as a licensed team alongside Tottenham Hotspur. The north-east side play their football at St. James' Park but the stadium is no longer in the game, although in previous games the stadium has been in the game under the name of Magpie Park. Newcastle along with Tottenham Hotspur were the licensed English teams in PES 2008 (later to be replaced by Manchester United and Liverpool in PES 2009).

[edit] PES 2009

Appearing as an unlicensed team named Tyneside, the team have many international stars that consist of Geremi, Obafemi Martins, Fabricio Coloccini and Damien Duff just to name a few. In contrast to their real-life fortunes in the 2008/09 season, in this edition Newcastle are known for their quality attacking play. Martins possesses blistering pace and deadly goal scoring ability, making him a striker wanted by all. Damien Duff also plays a huge role in Newcastle's attacks; his acceleration and pace create a difficult task for defenders when chasing him down the wing. Although the former Chelsea man is slowly losing his feet, he can still put in impressive performances. Goal poacher Michael Owen develops prodigiously, and the Magpies have two formidable prospects in Wesley Ngo Baheng and Kazenga LuaLua who if given time turn out to be quality players.

[edit] PES 2010

Having been relegated to the Championship they did not appear in PES 2010.

[edit] PES 2011 - 2015
