Tottenham Hotspur (pronounced TOT-n'm HOT-spur) are an English Premier League side. Tottenham Hotspur Football Club /ˈtɒtᵊnəm/,commonly referred to as Spurs, is an English football club located in Tottenham, London, that competes in the Premier League. The club's home stadium is White Hart Lane. Their newly developed training ground is in Bulls Cross on the northern borders of the London Borough of Enfield.

In Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, whom with Newcastle United made their debut as a licensed team however normal service was resumed in the next game.

In previous editions of PES as well as PES 2009, Tottenham were known as North East London, Konami's fake name for the club, but some people abbreviated that and called them NEL. Spurs are one of the few teams to be in every Pro Evolution Soccer game to date.

They appear as one of the two licensed English teams along with Manchester United.

After a fascinating season in the 2012/2013 season, Gareth Bale was sold to Real Madrid for €100 million ($132 million). This income was utilised by André Villas-Boas to buy 7 new players to replace the Welsh winger. These players include Roberto Soldado from Valencia, Paulinho from Corinthians and Erik Lamela from Roma. Formerly known for their British core, they now however only have 5 vital English players.
